Foundation of Culture of Santa Catarina
The Santa Catarina Public Library wanted to digitize newspapers dating back to 1831 from a collection of rare objects.
Approach & Solution
The project began in November 2013.
After carrying out a market survey to discover the various pieces of equipment that could meet their requirements, the Foundation of Culture of Santa Catarina turned to the i2S eScan scanner.
Thanks to the i2S scanner and editing software, the Foundation of Culture of Santa Catarina was able to achieve its objectives.
Some 905 titles have been digitized and are available to the public, with over 47,000 scans, totalling some 320,000 pages.
